Peoples, peoples, what is going on? I hope everyone is kicking loud and true in these desperate days of growing tensions. God Bless the almighty dollar, eh?

Anyway, I’m starting to realize that I’m late in keeping up with my resolutions. I’ve yet to start on the new pieces for my next art show, but that may change within the next week. Also, I created Project Chunkybutt and am making it public with hopes of motivating myself to shed some unwanted poundage. I’m not gonna make any progress charts or the like for you guys to glance over, so don’t get your hopes up. Another resolution, quitting smoking, has failed rather miserably before it even began. I needs m’li’l soldiers! Continue »

‘Sup everybody? I thought I might sit down and script something out here on this rather quiet Sunday afternoon. There hasn’t been much in the way of news for me to report, although I have made head way in a few small areas of my projects. The problem with my audio player has been solved although the reasons behind it’s failure are still a bit grey. Something to do with the Flash plug-in being updated with stricter policies, meaning older versions (like mine) are no longer supported, meaning I have to repurchase the code if I want to have a manageable player on my site, meaning 30 more bucks! I could go the free way and just embed a boring nondetachable player instead, but that’s just not me. I have to have maximum customabilitization! Continue »

Well, hello there peoples. Let me start off with a somewhat belated Happy New Year to you. I hope everyone is doing well and in good spirits as we turn the corner into 2009. Unlike last year, I didn’t slip up writing old dates on my checks this time. Score!

Anyway, things are moving both forward and backward currently, but all the while remain somewhat stable. I ran into some technical problems with my computer lately which has caused me some grief and headache, and has even delayed some things I had planned, but I’ve been able to get most things back in order. I’m slowly coming back ’round to this blog now that I’ve finally completed my album, which some of you received for xmas. I sincerely hope you guys enjoy it as it’s quite personal to me. Anyone who didn’t receive a copy may give a listen also. I’ve stuck it in the player on the front page. It may get moved in the future after my massive redesign/relaunch is complete, but for now that’s where it’ll be. **EDIT— there seems to be a problem with the player. Apparently, Firefox and Mac OSX are having Java issues, so if you’re a Mac and all you see is a black box instead of the songs, please be patient. I’m trying to figure it out.** Continue »

Hola, peoples! Hope everyone is hangin’ in there despite the several crises going on. Things are movin’ along quite nicely here. I know I keep saying this, but the album is very close to completion. It’s pretty much down to writing the last half of my last guitar lead and then doing some minor level tweaks. Strangely, the songs are sounding different on a cd in the car than on the computer. But thanks to the advancement of Roxio’s Toast 8, I can throw a quick equalizer on the songs instead of having to go back and tweak the actual song files in Cubase and re-exporting them. That may be Greek to a lot of you, but trust me, it’s wicked awesome! Continue »

’cause I’m in the movie-makin’ business now! That’s right, I’ve finally completed my arduous task of compiling the many, many photos we shot at Yellowstone back in ‘06 into a small slideshow. This project began last year, but I walked away from it midway through. After a butt-load of editing I now have a nice li’l movie to share with you. Exporting it to the web proved damned difficult, but I think I finally got it. It’s a bit smaller than I would like, but that’s how it’s gotta be. Currently, it’s for Quicktime only, so if you’re running XP, make sure you have the latest free player. If you still can’t see it, let me know.

I’ve added a video page to my galleries for future reference, but you can jump ahead with this here shortcut. Continue »
