‘Sup everybody? I thought I might sit down and script something out here on this rather quiet Sunday afternoon. There hasn’t been much in the way of news for me to report, although I have made head way in a few small areas of my projects. The problem with my audio player has been solved although the reasons behind it’s failure are still a bit grey. Something to do with the Flash plug-in being updated with stricter policies, meaning older versions (like mine) are no longer supported, meaning I have to repurchase the code if I want to have a manageable player on my site, meaning 30 more bucks! I could go the free way and just embed a boring nondetachable player instead, but that’s just not me. I have to have maximum customabilitization!
In other blog news, I’ve finally made some new graphics for my blog gallery and reworked its layout just a bit, so I think I can cross that off my list now. I’ve also been Facebooking quite a lot lately, simply trying to figure out some of the better features offered. I recently joined the NetworkedBlogs application with which I can promote this blog through Facebook and even find other blogs through similar tagging. I appreciate everyone’s help in confirming my authorship, too! I wasn’t expecting to have to go through that, but it does seem necessary.
I’m also trying to keep busy with designing solid sites for me ‘n Trav’s future projects. According to him, we just might be able to pull it off. And no time like the present, I say. It’s gonna require some major efforts to get things launched and running smoothly, but it should definitely prove quite the learning experience for me. I’m excited. We’ve been doing a bit of reorganizing ideas for approaching this leap into the professional world of interwebbing and how to showcase our goods. So let’s cross some fingers and see if this thing works out!
Of course, this is all coming on the heels of a fairly massive foul up on my part. I had noticed some substantial drag in my home computer’s performance for a while and figured I would simply do a complete overhaul for the new year. Everything was fine with backing up files, but the shit hit the fan when it came down to overwriting my hard drives. I had installation problems on my master drive and couldn’t get a complete OS install, and so thought I might try it on my slave drive. Long story short, I forgot I hadn’t backed up my iTunes folder yet and consequently erased my entire music library. Damn. I had plans for those songs! And so, here I am rebuilding it all song by song. I’ve gotten some generous assistance from a few friends to help jump start things, but it just really sucks to have done that. At any rate, I still have a few odds and ends to re-install, but my computer is pretty much back to par. Whatcha gonna do?
Well, I’ll be making modifications here and there to get my previously mentioned site transformation underway. And I’ll keep trying to get better at the whole ‘post more than once a month’ thingy.
More as it comes. . .

I had wondered where you got your spiffy Ipod player from before! Good luck with your new projects with Travis, also. I will sit patiently while waiting to see the cool stuff! It definitely stinks that all of your songs are gone! Let me know if we can help remedy the situation. Good to hear news from you!
