Tommy Chong, of the legendary comedic duo Cheech & Chong, will be signing his new book The I Chong at our Brookwood location this Saturday (27th). Not sure what kind of crowd to expect, stoner brats and disillusioned hippie-breed, i’m sure. At any rate, I grew up having seen a few of their cheap-shots-at-comedy-movies and rather enjoyed them. I actually own one on VHS which i keep tucked in a cubby hole to gather dust. But every blue moon, I’ll pop it in the ol’ VCR and press play, all the while expecting the machine to crap out on me. It’s very old, people. Anyway, so Tommy Chong….it’ll be cool to see him in person and maybe even shake his hand, but alas, I’ll be working and will have to stand aside while the customers get first dibs. Should be a pleasnt time, all the same; better than some signings I’ve attended. So if you want me to snag a signed copy for you, let me know…..and send me some money!
